New World Arts holds auditions for Love Lies Bleeding by Don DeLillo on Saturday June 26th from 2pm-4pm.
A family considers what to do when their father, artist Alec Macklin, is left in a vegetative state after a second stroke. Alex’s son, Sean, his second wife Toinette, and fourth wife Lia contemplate the ideas of life, mercy killing and the metaphysical consequences.
Performing: August 13-14, 20-21 at 8:00 p.m.
Auditions will consist of cold readings with no need to prepare a monologue. If you are unable to make the regular audition time but would like to still be considered please contact the director to arrange for an alternate time at PhilipL5@goshen.edu or 574-538-8679.
