Event: Auditions for Our Town by Thornton Wilder
Date and time: Saturday May 31st 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
GOSHEN, Ind. — New World Arts holds auditions for the third show in their monumental Season Ten, Our Town by Thornton Wilder on Saturday May 31st from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Wilder's commentary on the ephemeral and exquisite nature of life leads audiences into Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, circa 1901. As they watch the town over the course of twelve years, through triumph and woe, they see the profound cycles of human existence and community.
Seeking actors of all ages and ethnicities, the production will be directed by Artistic Director Laura Gouin and will rehearse in June/July and run July 18-20 and 25-27 with a possible hold over on August 1-3.
The audition will consist of cold readings from the script.
New World Arts is also looking for designers and a stage manager for the production.
