New World Arts Opens Registration for Season Ten Auditions
GOSHEN, Ind. — With the announcement of New World Arts' Season Ten only a week away, the theatre in Downtown Goshen has opened up registration for auditions to cast all season shows. Auditions will take place throughout the day on Saturday, January 19.
New World Arts is seeking individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, ages and experience levels to participate in their historic tenth theatre season. Season Ten shows, varying in style and featuring the first musical in New World Arts' recent history, will run through the end of 2008, alongside concerts, gallery exhibits and other events. New World Arts will additionally be seeking actors to join the theatre's first-ever improvisation troupe, which will also perform throughout the year.
Those interested in auditioning for New World Arts' Season Ten should prepare the following: a monologue that is two minutes or shorter; a professional resume; and a headshot. Those interested in auditioning for the musical should prepare a single piece in either the genre of musical theatre or Southern spiritual.
While the theatre will try accommodate walk-ins during the day of auditions, interested actors and singers are strongly encouraged to pre-register for an audition time at www.newworldarts.org.
Season Ten audition slots will be scheduled throughout the day, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on January 19.
